Customer rights

Before launch, publish a process that preserves statutory consumer rights. For many UK online purchases, consumers generally have 14 days after delivery to notify the seller that they are cancelling, and a further 14 days to send the goods back; exceptions apply. Faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods can carry separate remedies.

Confirm the rules that apply to the actual products and jurisdictions with an authoritative source or qualified adviser. Do not require customers to resolve a return directly with an overseas supplier.
